Once in a while a rare opportunity presents itself that is too compelling to not pursue. Such is the case for me. I have been selected as the President of Boston Public Library and will start my new responsibilities October 1. This position offers the rare opportunity to lead the nation's oldest public library, encompassing an historic central library with an extensive and unique collection, and a strong system of neighbor branches.
I have learned so much during my time here and wish Hennepin County Library and all of our County residents ongoing success.
