The Hennepin County Library Board is appointed by the County Board of Commissioners, and consists of 11 Hennepin County residents.
Vacancies on the Library Board are publicized and citizens may apply through an open appointments process. (See also Open Appointments Process: Questions and Answers and the Open Advisory Board applications form.) Two board members' terms expire December 31, 2008 and applications are due December 31, 2008.
Library Board officers and immediate past President will meet Tues., Nov. 18 from 4:15-5:30 p.m. at Ridgedale Administrative Offices, Director's Conference Room.

Persons with disabilities who plan to attend the Library Board meeting who may need auxiliary aids or services such as interpreters for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, readers, large print or Braille, may also contact Ms. Sohlberg three work days prior to the meeting.
